Kevin Na obliterated the TPC Summerlin greens this week at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open setting a PGA TOUR record for feet of putts made in a 72-hole event (an incredible 558 feet, 11 inches).  After this week Na has moved up 53 spots in the Strokes Gained - Putting statistics for the year.  So what changed?

Like many players who are always looking for the next big thing to improve their game, tour pros like Kevin Na and Bryson Dechambeau are switching to very stiff graphite shafts in their putters.  Why is this an improvement?

The high modulus materials that graphite putter shafts are made of heighten overall feel — particularly when it comes to how the ball feels coming off the face at impact — while reducing head twisting at impact. In layman’s terms, the shaft should make the misses smaller, left and right of the target line, which hopefully leads to more made putts.

Golf Tech UK's offering of a graphite putter shaft option is the Stability Putter shaft - Available here:

If you want to hole more putts, and shoot lower scores, investing in a better quality putter shaft is a no-brainer!
